Turning a passion into a profession.

I'm Andrew Black, a former consultant turned photographer. I've been an amateur travel and landscape photographer for three decades, but the birth of our daughter in 2022 catapulted me into the professional realm.

Turns out, photographing a squirmy, unpredictable infant is a far cry from capturing serene landscapes. I quickly discovered that I needed to up my game and acquire some new techniques to capture those fleeting moments of family life.

Practice, as they say, makes progress, and I've dedicated myself to honing my craft, learning from the industry's best. Through it all, I've developed a deep affinity for the unvarnished authenticity of reportage-style photography. There's a certain magic in documenting life's unscripted moments as they unfold.
