Black Vine Photography Blog
I'm Andrew Black, your local Toronto-based family photographer. I’m proud to call the vibrant Roncesvalles neighborhood my home. I've dedicated myself to honing my craft, and learning from the industry's best. Through it all, I've developed a deep affinity for the unvarnished authenticity of reportage-style photography. There's a certain magic in documenting life's unscripted moments as they unfold. I’m passionate about capturing moments that tell your unique story. Whether it's the joy of a family gathering, a couple's connection, or life’s milestones, I'm here to help you capture and preserve those memories in beautiful, authentic photographs.
This blog is designed as a resource for my clients, a place where you can find answers to common questions, get inspiration for your upcoming photoshoot, and learn a little bit more about me and my approach to photography.

Should I tip my photographer?
Tipping your photographer isn't typically expected, as their fees encompass their expertise and time. However, there are rare instances where a tip might be appropriate, such as when a photographer goes above and beyond or provides services significantly exceeding the initial agreement.
